The Queen's Gambit Poster Variation

This poster design was created for a project within the Design Practice course at the University of Florida. The assignment consisted of redesigning any existing artwork. Due to the popularity of Netflix's The Queen's Gambit at the time, I decided to create a variation of the official poster. Composed of one of my photographs, as well as similar typefaces and text positioning to the original, my design incorporates editorial elements that bring emphasis to the game of chess and the importance of the queen piece.
