Portraiture series shot for Portraits course at the University of Florida. Originally inspired by the painting 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 by René Magritte. Due to my interest in themes of identity and anonymity, I created this small series. These photographs are meant to represent love in a way that goes beyond the term 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴. The complete anonymity of the models in the first and last photographs is meant to signify that love is both unique and universal. Meanwhile, the two other portraits are meant to be a reflection of how we see our partners and in a completely unique way. We all know what love is, or what it may look like. However, how we love and who we love is something that belongs entirely to us.
